Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy is for

This Privacy Policy explains how Ommogl handles information when you use the local appearance check at ommogl.com. Ommogl is a browser-based experience that estimates a visual readiness score from camera input on your own device.

2. Camera and face data

The camera check is designed to run locally in your browser. Your live camera feed is used to draw tracking points and estimate feature signals such as framing, lighting, symmetry, jawline position, and eye alignment. Ommogl does not intentionally upload, store, sell, or share your camera stream, face image, face template, or scan result.

The scan is not identity verification, biometric identification, medical analysis, or a security check. It is an entertainment and visual feedback tool.

3. Information we may receive

We may receive limited technical information from your browser, including page views, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser type, referring pages, and interactions with buttons or links. This information helps us understand whether the site works and how people use it.

4. Analytics

Ommogl uses Google Analytics through Google tag ID G-6GDX88E79C. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure traffic and usage. Google Analytics can process information such as your IP address, browser details, pages visited, and time on page.

5. Third-party services

The site may load browser-side libraries, machine-learning models, fonts, and scripts from third-party providers such as Google, jsDelivr, esm.sh, TensorFlow, and MediaPipe. These providers may receive standard network information, such as your IP address and browser request metadata, when your browser requests those files.

Links to Esrok protection services, including esrok.com/my-protection, are separate from Ommogl. If you click those links, Esrok’s own terms and privacy notices apply.

6. Legal bases for EEA/UK users

Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the site, and consent where required for analytics or optional browser features such as camera access.

7. Your choices

You can refuse camera permission, close the page, block cookies, use private browsing modes, or disable JavaScript. If you deny camera access, the local scan cannot run. You may also request access, deletion, or correction of personal information if we have any information that can reasonably be linked to you.

8. Data retention

Ommogl does not intentionally store camera scans or ratings. Analytics data may be retained by Google Analytics according to the settings and retention controls available in Google Analytics.
